Matthew B. Bronson
Matt Bronson, a founding partner of Bronson Lipsky LLP, has spent much of his legal career counseling clients, both individuals and companies, on employment related matters. Such matters have included negotiating and drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, non-compete agreements, releases and employee handbooks/policy manuals. His work has included general employment counseling for clients on hiring/firing concerns, protection of confidential information, and restrictive covenant matters. Mr. Bronson also advises clients on general business and corporate matters, including entity formation and related matters (such as drafting operating agreements, company by-laws, and employee equity plans), financing matters and various corporate contracts including vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and consulting contracts. In the entertainment law field, Mr. Bronson represents film production companies, artist representatives, film executives, producers, actors and writers in a wide variety of matters.
Prior to the formation of Bronson Lipsky LLP, Mr. Bronson worked at the New York office of Foley & Lardner LLP, a large full service law firm with a national and international presence. He is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C.
Mr. Bronson received his law degree from The George Washington University in 2004, and his undergraduate degree in English from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2000.
Douglas B. Lipsky
Douglas Lipsky is a founding partner of Bronson Lipsky LLP. Mr. Lipsky has extensive experience in all areas of employment law, including discrimination and wrongful discharge cases, wage and hour cases, restrictive covenant and non-competition agreements, breach of contract cases, Department of Labor investigations, mediations and arbitrations. He regularly represents clients in complex wage and hour claims, including collective actions under the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and class actions under the laws of many different states. He also advises clients on matters relating to harassment, the development and implementation of employment contracts, employee handbooks, personnel policies, reductions-in-force, independent contractor agreements and compliance with Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, and other federal, state and local employment statutes.
Prior to becoming a founding partner of Bronson Lipsky, Mr. Lipsky was a senior associate at the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, a premier nationwide labor and employment law firms. Before working at Seyfarth, he was an associate at Gibbons P.C. in Newark, New Jersey, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur D’Italia in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County. Mr. Lipsky is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Mr. Lipsky received his law degree from Seton Hall University, cum laude, in 2003. He received dual undergraduate degrees, in Finance and Political Science, from the University of Arizona in 2000.
